Day 1: Full day to visit Fez
Take your time to explore the cultural and historical city of Fez. Visit the famous Bou Inania Madrasa, the ancient ruins of Volubilis, and the vibrant tanneries. Don’t forget to try the delicious Moroccan cuisine!
Day 2: Fez to Chefchaouen
Leave Fez and head towards the picturesque blue town of Chefchaouen. Take a stroll through the winding streets and alleys, admire the colorful buildings, and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of this charming town.
Day 3: Chefchaouen to Casablanca to Marrakech Travel from Chefchaouen to Casablanca and visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque. Then, continue on to Marrakech, the bustling city of souks, gardens, and palaces. Take a walk around the medina and experience the vibrant energy of this enchanting city.
Day 4: Marrakech Sightseeing
Spend the day exploring the sights and sounds of Marrakech. Visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace, and the Majorelle Garden. Don’t miss out on trying some traditional street food from the local vendors!
Day 5: Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou to Ouarzazate to Dades Gorges
Today, drive from Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore the stunning kasbah and then continue on to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert.” Drive through the picturesque Dades Gorges and enjoy the stunning landscapes.
Day 6: Dades Gorges to Todra Gorges to Merzouga
Travel from Dades Gorges to Todra Gorges, a stunning canyon with towering cliffs. Then, continue on to Merzouga, where you can experience the magic of the Sahara Desert. Take a camel ride and enjoy a sunset over the sand dunes.
Day 7: Full day to explore Merzouga Desert
Spend the day exploring the desert, visiting the nomad families, and enjoying the unique landscape. Try sandboarding or simply relax and enjoy the silence and tranquility of the desert.
Day 8: Merzouga to Ziz Valley to Midelt to Azrou to Ifrane to Fes
Leave Merzouga and head towards the stunning Ziz Valley, known for its palm trees and oases. Drive through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping at Midelt, Azrou, and Ifrane along the way. Finally, arrive in Fes, where you can reflect on the amazing journey you’ve just had.
