DAY 1: TANGIER TO CHEFCHAOUEN

We will commence your 8-day desert tour from Tangier to Marrakech via Chefchaouen & Fes. We will pick you up from the airport/port or from your hotel in Tangier. If you arrive in the morning, we will take you to explore Tangier, including a visit to the Cave of Hercules and Cap Spartel, where you can see the Mediterranean sea and the Atlantic ocean simultaneously. Later, we will proceed to Chefchaouen and spend the night in a hotel/Riad.

DAY 2: FULL DAY IN CHEFCHAOUEN

After breakfast, we will start the second day of this 8-day desert tour by exploring Chefchaouen, also known as the “blue city” or blue pearl of Chefchaouen. It is an excellent destination for photographers due to its white and blue washed walls. We will take a walk inside the medina to appreciate the beautiful buildings of this city. Overnight in your hotel.

DAY 3: CHEFCHAOUEN TO FES VIA VOLUBILIS AND MEKNES

After breakfast, we will depart from Chefchaouen and head to Volubilis to discover the roman ruins. Next, we will travel to Meknes, where we will see the impressive Bab Mansour gate, built by the Sultan My Ismail. We will also visit the Sahrij Souani before we continue our journey to Fes. Dinner and overnight in your Hotel/Riad.

DAY 4: FULL DAY IN FES

After breakfast, we will start our visit to Fes, the oldest city in Morocco and one of the four imperial cities. We will spend most of the day in the old part of Fes (the medina) walking through its narrow streets. We will visit the Royal Palace Gate, known for its golden gate, and the University Of Al Quaraouyine, the oldest existing. After lunch in a traditional Moroccan restaurant in the medina, we will visit the famous Tanneries and the Jewish quarter before we go back to your Riad. Overnight in your Riad.

DAY 5: FES TO MERZOUGA DESERT VIA IFRANE, AZROU, AND MIDELT

After breakfast, we will pick you up from your riad in Fes around 8:30 am and start our Fes desert tour to Marrakech. Our first destination will be Ifrane, also known as the Switzerland of Morocco, for a short walk. Then, we will continue to Azrou, where we may catch a glimpse of the Barbary apes. We will have lunch in Midelt and then proceed to Merzouga, where we will find an experienced camel man and camels waiting to carry us across the fabulous Merzouga Erg Chebbi Dunes for around half an hour to reach the camp. Spend the night with locals under the stars.

DAY 6: EXPLORE THE SAHARA DESERT IN MERZOUGA

After breakfast in the camp and camel trek back to Merzouga, we will start our explorative day of Merzouga desert, driving through the desert on a 4×4 vehicle. We will also have an opportunity to visit a nomadic family close to the borders between Morocco and Algeria before we head to the village of dark-skinned people, originally slaves from Sudan, listen to Gnaoua music, and experience their lifeztyle. Overnight in a hotel/riad.

DAY 7 : MERZOUGA DESERT  TO RISSANI  VIA TODRA GORGES & BOUMALNE DADES.

After breakfast in a Riad/Hotel in Merzouga desert, we start the sixth day of this desert tour from Tangier. We will head to Dades Gorges via Rissani, the foundation of the current ruling family and the place for caravan routes during the old ages. We will have a stop here before we leave for the Todra Gorges, where we will have a walk under the 300-meter-high cliffs. We arrive in Dades Gorges in the evening and enjoy dinner and overnight in a Hotel/Riad.

DAY 8 : DADES GORGES TO OUARZAZATE TO AIT BEN HADDOU , HIGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS &  MARRAKECH.

On the last day of the 8 days desert tour from Tangier, we start by driving from Boumalne Dades to Ouarzazate to visit the Atlas Studio. After the visitation, we drive to the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It’s a perfect location for numerous movies such as Lawrence Of Arabia, Gladiator, and the famous one is Game Of Thrones, and many more. After lunch, we will head towards Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi Ntichka pass (2260 meters). We will stop for a panoramic view and to take pictures.
