Day 1: Full day to visit Marrakech.
We will start the first day of the Morocco itinerary one week with a visitation of the red city Marrakech. During this day we will explore the most beautiful Marrakech highlights such as Bahia Palace, which means the palace of the beautiful, this royal palace features carved panels in exquisite eastern architecture. We will also be exploring one of the most beloved places to Yves Saint Laurent and an absolute must in Marrakech the Majorelle Garden. Visit Menera Gardens established hundreds of years ago, it’s a great reflection of this city’s beauty. Koutoubia Mosques, the largest and most famous mosque in Marrakech, constructed in the 12 century.
Day 2: Marrakech ⇢ High Atlas Mountains ⇢ Ait Ben Haddou ⇢ Ouarzazate ⇢ Dades Gorges.
We will start the second day of this Morocco itinerary one week with a delicious breakfast in your hotel then drive to Ouarzazate through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi ntichka pass (2260 meters). We will have a stop in a panoramic view for fabulous pictures. Get to the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it’s a location for numerous movies such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator and the famous one is Game Of Thrones, and many more. After lunch in Ait Ben Haddou village, continue to Dades Gorges via Ouarzazate through the ” Road of the thousand Kasbahs “. Arrive at evening, spend the night in a hotel/Riad in Dades Gorges.
Day 3: Dades Gorges ⇢ Todra Gorges ⇢ Merzouga Desert.
After a delicious breakfast, we will the third day of the Morocco itinerary one week by driving to Todra Gorges, where we will have a walk under the 300 meters high cliffs. Then continue our trip to Merzouga, where we will find an experienced camel man and camels waiting to carry us across the amazing dunes of Merzouga, for around half an hour to reach the desert camp. Spend the night with locals under the stars.
Day 4: Merzouga Desert ⇢ Ziz Valley ⇢ Midelt ⇢ Azrou ⇢ Ifrane ⇢ Fes.
Today we will start our journey to Fes around 8:30 am, travel along the Ziz Valley. We will stop in a panoramic view. Lunch will be in Midelt, then continue driving, we might be able to catch a glimpse of the Barbary apes that live in the cedar forest of Azrou. Our next destination will be Ifrane, called also Switzerland of Morocco, we will have a stop here before we head to Fes. Arrive at Fes in the evening.
Day 5: Full day to visit Fes.
After breakfast in your Riad, we will will start our visitation of Fes with a local guide, the oldest city of Morocco, and one of the four imperial cities. We will spend most of the day in the old part of Fes (the medina) walking in its narrow streets. Visit the Royal Palace Gate known for its golden gate, your visit includes the University Of Al Quaraouyine, the oldest existing. After lunch in a traditional Moroccan restaurant in the medina, we will visit the famous Tanneries and the Jewish quarter before we go back to your Riad. Overnight in your Riad.
DAY 6 : FES ⇢ VISIT CHEFCHAOUEN.
After breakfast in your Riad, we will head to Chefchaouen via the city of Ouazzan. Arrive around Noon, and then start exploring Chefchaouen, known as “blue city” or blue pearl of Chefchaouen. This city is a fabulous destination for photographers, due to its white and blue washed walls, we will have a walk inside the medina to enjoy the beautiful buildings of this city. Overnight in your hotel.
DAY 7 : CHEFCHAOUEN ⇢ CASABLANCA ⇢ MARRAKECH.
After breakfast at your hotel, we will start the seventh day of your Morocco itinerary by traveling to Casablanca to visit the Hassan II Mosque, the second-largest mosque in the world after Mecca. We will have lunch near the Cornish Coast before heading to Marrakech, where we will arrive in the evening. This marks the end of your one-week Morocco itinerary.
